What is the art I will be learning?
Success Academy China Hand (Risshen Kyokai Karate) and Spirit Warrior Gate (Espiritu Mandirigma Pasukan)

Everyone starts out learning Risshin Kyokai Karate (Success Academy China Hand). This allows the student to develop their basics and self defense skills in the traditional arts. It encompasses conflict avoidance, empty hand defense, grappling, ground fighting, pressure points, weapons, multiple attackers and more. This is accomplished through technique based and scenario based training using scientific principals. Upon earning their Black Belt they may be invited to train in the Spirit Warrior Gate System. The Spirit Warrior Gate is a complete self-protection system that equips the practitioner with skills necessary to protect one’s self and one’s family from the violence that has become so common in today’s society. Spirit Warrior Gate is divided into two (2) systems. Spirit Warrior Kenpo-Jutsu or Shin Bu Mon Kenpo-Jutsu is our traditional Okinawan / Korean Martial Art. This art is technique based and is taught in our Family Classes. Shen Wu Men Kuntaw – Espiritu Mandirigma Pasukan Kuntaw is taught in our Adult Only class (Ages 16 and up). This is scenario based training utilizing the Filipino martial Arts (weapons training, kung fu, kickboxing, and grappling), and Pressure Points (Kyusho-Jutsu). Kuntaw (Kun Tao) was originally from Southern China and migrated through South East Asia. Kuntaw assimilated many principals of the arts (Silat, Arnis, Eskrima, Kali, and Mano-Mano) it came into contact with on its journey to the Philippines.
