1.       Lvl 1: Coconut Knife

-          Attacker: Hooking punch

-          Defender: execute a knifehand block to the attacker’s arm, while simultaneously executing an overhand palm strike to the attacker’s forehead (gallbladder triangle)

Lvl 2: Windmill

-          Attacker:  One hand shoulder grab from the side

-          Defender: Using the double knifehand motion, place the front hand under the attacker’s elbow, and the opposite hand behind the attacker’s neck.  As you side step behind your attacker, press the head down towards the floor, while simultaneously raising their arm above the head.  This motion down quickly will force the attacker to the ground.

 

2.       Lvl 1: Bending the Tree to get the Coconut

-          Attacker: Rear upper arm grab from the side

-          Defender:  Drop the weight as you bring both feet together.  As you fold for a side kick, pull your arm to the opposite side of the body.  Deliver a side kick to the opponent’s knee.  With the front hand, grab the opponent’s head, and deliver a cross elbow strike to the head with the opposite arm.

 

Lvl 2: Little Thunder Snaps branch

-          Attacker: Double hand grab to the upper arm.

-          Defender: Similar to the Level 1 technique, Drop the weight with the feet together.  As you do so, grab the opponent’s hand with your free hand.  As you fold for your side kick pull the opponents arm across your body using ¾ twist lock.  Use the fold for your kick as a knee strike to the opponent’s elbow.  Then finish as in the level 1 defense.

 

3.       Lvl 1: Wings of Fury

-          Attacker: Two hand choke from the Left side

-          Defender: Step back with the left foot and deliver a left palm strike to the groin, while simultaneously clearing the attacker’s left hand with a right high block.  Pivot toward the attacker clearing their right hand with your left arm, and execute a knifehand strike to the attacker’s neck.

 

Lvl 2: Clutching Feather’s

 

-          Attacker: Left hand hair pull

-          Defender: Trap opponent’s hand to your head using your left hand.  With the right hand deliver a raising palm strike to the attacker’s elbow.  Keeping hold of the opponent’s hand, step into a cross stance and deliver a right back knuckle strike to the face

 

4.       Lvl 1: Twisting Python

-          Attacker: attempted rear python

-          Defender: Cross Step with the left foot, spin to face the attacker while pulling your elbows back to fold for your cross strike.  Step forward will delivering a cross hand strike to the opponent’s jaw line (double Stomach 5)

 

Lvl 2: Spinning Darkness, Crossed Swords

-          Attacker: Cross right hand grab, spinning with impending Punch

-          Defender: Cross Step, spin toward the attacker.  This time as you do so, raise the hands in a crossed guard position.  Cross strike to the opponent’s neck, grabbing the collar.  Pull back into a cat stance, executing a collar choke by pulling the collar across the throat       

 

 

 

5.       Lvl :1 Rising Little Thunder

-          Attacker: Right/left punching combination

-          Defender: Block the Right hand punch, with a left reinforced outside block.  Use the pivot of your hips and the fold for the head grab to slap the left hand punch away.  Grab the head, and pull the opponent into a right knee strike.

 

Lvl 2: Bulldog

-          Attacker: Wrist grab while in reinforced outside block position, incoming punch

-          Defender: ?
